Hi,
Do they serve Mickey Waffles at Boma for breakfast?

Do they have real maple syrup (like from Vermont) or the fake pancake syrup that most places have?

Does anyone have any pics?

We're thinking of trying it in September. We enjoyed dinner there very much and we love breakfast food. Any thoughts??

What day/time should we go to avoid crowds? Should we go on a day that has AM EMH at AK?

Boma is my absolute favorite breakfast anywhere !!! I believe they do have small mickey waffles, but the syrup is probably what you are thinking about, thin consistency warm syrup. Everything is terrific, they have the regular breakfast fare along with some African specialties, lots of variety. Terrific juice, lots of pastries. You can even get a homemade omelette. You will love it, give it a try !!:thumbsup2

Thanks TigerKat....you beat me to it Babe!

Boma is the best breakfast in all of WDW...what I would do to eat there tomorrow!

Wow! That looks so good, I think we'll have to go there are first morning!! OK, here's my ADR list so far: Le Cellier the night we arrive, Boma our first morning there, Grand Floridian the night of MNSSHP and Boma for dinner one night. Yum!! I still have room for another 2 table service meals. Any recommendations?

Boma Breakfast is a must for us every trip. We eat breakfast every other morning in our DVC unit, but always leave one morning for Boma! There is such a great variety of food and since we are not a fan of character breakfasts, the atmosphere is lovely. We always try to get a very early morning reservation and usually the restaurant is pretty empty when we arrive. This time around we are doing a 7:30 reservation the morning we leave for the Disney Cruise. It will keep up full until we get to the lunch buffet on board. :)

Can I ask what makes Boma's breakfasts special? We're not usually big breakfast-food people, but we're staying at AKL, so maybe... ?

Its a must do for us also! What makes it so special is the theming the unique ppl who work there and the food. Not only do you have the normal eggs bacon and sausage but they put a twist on french toast using raisin bread and there are loads of different items to try besides the amazing variety of pastries too. The cofee and the juice is different. Its not just an oridnary breakfast buffett..

Boma is a must for us every trip. Not once but twice. We do breakfast and then dinner. DH loves the ribs. It's great for people who like to try new things. Plus there is still your "normal" breakfast foods for those who aren't into experiencing new things. And if all else fails there's REAL coffee!!!
Unfortunately the syrup is still the same old "fake" syrup as we call it. I love maple syrup it's all we have in our house. I'd love to find somewhere that actually offered it!
