Well I am not sure about making it by open, but I know you will enjoy your breakfast. It is a great experience. I wouldn't want to rush it. The Mara has decent breakfast options for those in a hurry.
I would be very surprised if you make it to opening, especially depending on when AK opens. Typically AK opens at 8 am (EMH) or 9 am. That would give you between 10 and 70 minutes to eat, pay, and get a bus to AK. I would not want to feel rushed, especially at Boma when there a lot of good things to try. If you do want to try and make rope drop at AK, then I would guess you need to be at the AKL bus stop by 8:30 at the latest.
If you have a car, it would be possible if you were seated on time and if you ate quickly and got out in 30 minutes. But I personally hate being rushed through a meal.
If you're relying on the buses, then your chances are even slimmer.
You will however, be able to make it shortly after opening.

You should be fine especially if you are okay with arriving a few minutes after rope drop. We have eaten breakfast at Boma (I think our ADR wasn't until 8:30) and it was pretty much dead in there...so at 7:50 you should be good.
