Need help to choose another 2 TS dinner from title listed of 4: Boma, 1900PF, GardenGrill, CapeMay.

Stay 4 nights December 13-17, with wfie, DS5, DD2, already reserved Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey dinner.

Prefer dinner buffet, please suggest others if better choice. Thanks.

I would definitely put Boma on the list, food and service was excellent. It may be nice to have a break from characters too if the 2 yo does not end up liking them. My DD2 1/2 did not like them this year so it was good we did not do all character meals (she cried when they came in the room). Plus, she loved characters last year, so this can change quickly.

I thought the food was ok at garden grill and service was poor. 1900 PF was good food service was ok. The characters were lots of fun and my DS6 liked meeting a prince. I have not eaten at Cape May.

The other place we ate twice, once dinner and once breakfast was Whispering Canyon Cafe, we stayed at Wilderness Lodge. Food was great and service was excellent. The kids both liked the games they played. Plus, even though it was a menu they brought out a few extras for the 2 yo and gave her dessert (and did not charge extra for these little things).

Have fun!

First let me say :welcome: to the DIS :cool1: :cool1:.

Out of your 4 choices, we love Boma and Cape May, although neither one has characters....didn't know if you were looking for that or not :confused3 (Cape May has characters for breakfast but not dinner). We haven't been to 1900 PF in a long time, but I have read many good reviews.....and we have that on our list of ADRs for our next trip :).

Not sure of your touring plans, but I would pick Boma, and Garden Grill regardless. We have found that the food at the buffets at Disney are just average. Most are character meals and that is why we go. Boma would be the exception to this.

We also like GG. It is served family style, which after a long day in the parks with two young children might be nice! One year we did a lot of buffets and found it to be kind of a pain, especially having to feed small children and making sure we didn't miss any characters.

Also, from a scheduling standpoint, if you choose Boma and GG, you would have restaurants in the AK and Epcot area if you are planning to do those parks.:)
