Yeah I saw that to. It was so noticeable. I have a 40" HDTV so we have a big TV but not a huge TV.

On my large HD tv the actress who plays Phoebe was fluttering her eyelids while laying there dead.

And the morgue woman was Jessica from Y&R years ago. John's wife and Crickets mom!

Boy - you got that right!! Ridge did not look like a father who just had his daughter die in his arms - and did anyone else notice how bloody Pheobe was, yet there wasn't a speck of blood on Ridge when he came back to the party to announce she was dead?

Thomas didn't shed a tear at all - and even though Steffy was trying to make it seem like she was crying, she did a horrible job of it!!

Haven't watched todays show yet, but I'm expecting more of the same - horrible acting..

I was VERY disappointed that they didn't continue today with Ridge telling her today and her reaction. Horrible.

I thought I must have missed something at the beginning as I wondered where she was.

She did lose a son in real life a year or so ago, maybe she could not go through those scenes, but they should have finished the one scene where she found out!

Taylor's lips annoy me so much I can't take her seriously anymore. She used to be pretty.

I saw that on my big screen too! I was crying hard until I saw her eyes fluttering! Any belief I had was thrown out the window! The director should have noticed her eyes fluttering!

They REALLY should have noticed it, I could not pay attention to what was being said it was so bad.

I think she did a good job today. She also looks a lot like Taylor and Ridge. Phoebe looked like neither, more like Brooke perhaps.

Where is Taylor today? I must have missed the beginning.

I think Taylor will be on tomorrow, she and Ridge are supposed to go to the crash site. I know for sure, she will be on Friday. Rick is going to her to tell her he's sorry for his envolvement in Pheobe's death

I am thinking this must be so painful for Taylor/Hunter as it has just been one year since losing her son, Michael. She does infomercials here in LA after TB&TB for The American Epilepsy. I believe her son had a seizure in relation to Epilepsy which caused his falling into the pool and his drowning. Very sad. And trying to do these scenes must just be so sad and an abundance of memories.

CHRISTMAS CRISIS

Last week, Ridge agreed to not have Rick prosecuted for Phoebe's death if he moves back to Paris. This week, Brooke presents the proposition to her son and he agrees. "Rick's not happy about it," sets up his portrayer, Kyle Lowder. "Even though he's not going to jail, he's basically being banished from his family. He's an outcast now and no one wants to deal with him because he's a constant reminder of this terrible tragedy. He convinces himself that he needs to go away, so he tells his mom it's a good idea he return to Forrester International."

However, as soon as Rick agrees, he becomes very emotional. "He starts falling apart," says Lowder. "He's resigned to moving away, but the weight of the whole situation just comes crashing down on him. He's such a mess."

Brooke becomes so alarmed by her son's overwrought reaction that she changes her mind. "Like any good mother would do, she says, 'I can't have you leave in this shape,'" Lowder explains. "Now is when Rick needs his family the most so she can't just send him away."

Next, Brooke has to sell Ridge on the new plan - and he's not too thrilled. After, the couple tries to lift their spirits by joining the family to celebrate Christmas at Eric's house. Not surprisingly, the loss of Phoebe darkens the mood and it doesn't help when Rick shows up. "He's not thinking clearly," says Lowder. "He doesn't have the capacity to decide if coming is a good idea or not. He just wants to drop off the gifts for the kids and leave."

When Eric wants his son to stay, Stephanie throws a fit. "Eric comes back with, 'He's family!'" Lowder shares. "Eric then makes this wonderful speech to everyone about how he wants the family to rally together so they can get beyond this tragedy. Stephanie backs down, but she's not happy about it."

Rick reluctantly stays, but keeps out of the way by watching the festivities from a distance. A melancholy Ridge retreats to the terrace, where he thinks about Phoebe, so Rick approaches the grieving father. "Rick thanks Ridge for not pressing charges against him," says Lowder. "Ridge is silent, so Rick leaves."

But Ridge has plenty to say to Brooke about what should happen next to Rick.

anybody else sick of the old man/young girl pairings? Eric/Donna, Nick/Katie.
I thought that most of the writers of these soaps were women, must not be as alot of the storylines cater to mens fantasies. You would think that men are the target audience.
