boise has one of the weakest schedueles ever. play ohio state and alabama and beat them both then yeah you can go to the title game. VT was over rated and they almost lost to them. i cant stand how much praise boise gets.

I'm not a super duper football fan, but married to one . I have to agree with this. I do think VT was overrated this year, and Boise would have to have some BIG wins to be considered. Several teams have a stronger strength of schedule, so a lot would have to happen for Boise to get there. Possible...but not too likely.

Nothing against Boise State...I like underdogs. I just know how the BCS works...and it would be quite difficult.

How often are there 2 undefeated teams from the major conferences? Very rare. If Bama and Ohio St. both run the table then Boise is out. If one of them loses, Boise is in. That simple.

Also why is it that everytime Boise beats someone, people say the team they beat are overrated? LMAO what a joke.

The team that is overrated is Ohio St. They're always top 5 preseason and lose a terrible game during the regular season. Then when they do go undefeated, they get absolutely blown out in the title game.

BSU played very poorly against a very good team and still won, just like when they beat Oklahoma. Anything can happen (see, e.g. USC vs Stanford), but BSU is a legitimate top 5 team, whether they're in the MW, WAC or SEC.

I agree. I'm a Boise State fan though have been sense birth. Its kind of hard not to be when your raised in a family like mine. Exiting game yesterday even if we had lost it was a great game to watch!

Boise has to beat Oregon St (who is ranked) and Fresno State (who will be ranked and they beat the defending BE champion last week).

They also have a tough game against Nevada and have to play on the road at Wyoming. If you think playing in Laramie is easy, just ask the folks in Oxford, and Virginia what they thought of their trip to Laramie.

All Boise has done for the last 8 years or so is to beat nearly everyone on their schedule. Including winning to BCS bowl games.

I'm hoping for CU-BSU in the title game. Time to blow up the BCS
