I was wondering what some of you folks thought about people entering the parks for their priority seating before the MK opened. I mean one guy said he had a priority seating for the castle @ 8:30 and it was 8:50 at the time. But he wasn't rushing when he got in, he got a stroller and seemed to not be intrested in his PS.

So I suspected that he and others said they had a PS but really didn't just so they could get a jump on the crowd. Are there some people that are really that hard up that they actually do this? Why wouldn't the CM at the gate check the name to make sure they really had a PS? Or am I just jumping the gun and making bad assumptions?

I think there is a computerized system for all the reservations. I think this because there is the one phone line that you can use to make all your meal reservations. I may be wrong. Did the CM ask for ID or the name and check the system?

We have been there early for PS's and have had a CM check PS #. I don't think that it is fair for people to try and "sneak" in early, but if the CM is letting them in what can you do.

I didn't even know there was such a thing until we made an early PS in April.

If it was 8:50, I don't know that the PS entry lane would be much help. We had a 9:00am PS for the castle in April, and got to the gate around 8:45am. We had to wait and go in with the rest of the crowds. That was our experience. I can't speak for anyone else, LOL.

JUst back from WDW - the only place checking the PS roster was at Epcot where you needed to walk to WS. At MK and AK, anyone could have gotten in early. My question is - what is the point? You may get in front of a few people (not that many) since they do not allow anyone into the lands until 9:05 or so (I was at rope drop for Tomorrowland, Fantasyland and Adventureland this past week).

The last time we went, May 04, they did not check our name or conf # either time we went in to eat breakfast before the park opened. We did finish up very quickly and were at the rope drop on the tea cups side of the castle (no one else was there at all) and were the first to ride Pooh.

We had an early PS at CP back in Sept & was disappointed to see them not asking for names & confirming that the people trying to enter the park did in fact have a PS. I wish that it would be SOP to check names against the database before letting people in the park early.

We had our confirmation and name checked to get into AK early for a ADR/PS, the CM doing it had a clipboard with a list of the PS's on. That was in May, and on an early entry day so the park was already open to resort guests, but there was a special PS entrance. I guess it depends on which park it is.

We had a PS end of April for about 9:10 or so. We got to MK about 8:30. We asked the 1st CM where to go for our PS time of 9:10, he directed us around to the right and told us to tell the CM at the turnstile we had an 8:45 PS. They never checked that we did have a PS or verify the time.

in July they did not check anyone who was going in for breakfast early. When we were walking toward CP, there were probably 4-5 families that were just walking around. And yes as we heard them all say they had breakfast ressies.

In the past, when we had early PS, we have had our PS confrimed at the turnstiles for both DAK and MK. At DAK all those with early PS at breakfastosaurus were put in groups of about 12 and escorted directly to the reastatorant. We have never had an early PS at Epcot or Disney Studios so I can't tell you if they check there also.

I can tell you for a fact that they don not check PS numbers when we went 2 weeks ago....

We had a 8:05 ps for CP and when we walked up to give our names at the CP counter, the lady in front of me was askig if they were taking walk ups.... She had to sit and wait but she obviously did not have a PS.
