We did it for the first time in August and loved it. It was a beautiful day to be out on the water and it is a really fun experience. We got to see one gator and lots of unusual birds along the way. After the ride, DD got to hold a baby gator. I would definitely recommend it. When you get into the Disney area, pick up one of the tourist coupon books that you find at the local restaurants and shops as there are discount coupons in there.

ETA: Yes, we felt perfectly safe.

Didn't really get wet at all. Maybe a tiny bit of spray. I took a ton of pictures and don't recall having to cover the camera.

We have done the Boggy Creek Airboat rides twice over the years and have throughly enjoyed each visit. We have done a daytime 30 min tour and a 60 min nighttime tour. We liked each very much but the nighttime tour was the best because there was a lot more gator activity. It is loud but they give you headphones to block the noise. We did not get wet at all. I felt very safe. Bring a jacket because it will be breezy.

We went on Wild Willy's airboat ride and it was great. We did not get wet at all- felt very safe- had really good headphones so the noise was not a concern-the scenery/birds beautiful. It was a hot day but glad we all had coats/sweaters- cool when go fast. We all had a chance to hold a small alligator.

As a avid airboater,the rigs they use on these tours are VERY SAFE and the captains are Coast Guard Certified to run them.So do not worry about safety!!!

Alittle bit of info,most of the noise is from the prop not the motor>>
