BOG without Reservation

I couldn't find any BOG reservations since we didn't book our package until after the 180 days out. But I saw another thread mention BOG as a quick service lunch. Do you still need reservations for that? The last time we were at Disney was before the FantasyLand upgrades and we really wanted to be able to eat there.

I'm also assuming no chance of a party of 8 getting seats on a walk-in

Yes. Even though it is QS for breakfast and lunch, you still need an ADR. There have been a few people here and there that have said they were able to get a walk-up, but I think chances would be slim for a party of 8.

You need an ADR for all meals at BOG. And there is no way a party of 8 is getting in without an ADR. Keep checking for smaller party availability at similar times.

BUT don't give up, not even while there. Folks change all the time and just keep checking randomly and you may pick one up.

To add on PP the PLUS to lunch being QS is that you seat yourself so keep trying for a variety of ADRs with same small window. You could have two ADRs of 4 OR any combo that gets you inside approximately the same time. First one to sit gets the big enough table or if close enough times that you can enter together.

We booked our trip less than three months out. I kept checking, and have manage 3 reservations at BOG. Two lunches and breakfast on Mother's Day! For the last reservation I booked, which was yesterday, I used Touring Plans reservation finder (free). Worked like a charm. I got a lunch for this coming Tuesday 5/9, our arrival day. Give it a try, but I'd try to book two reservations for 4, instead of one for 8. It's open seating at b/l, so finding a big table or two next to each other shouldn't be an issue. Good luck!!

Keep checking, especially the night before. We have a PPO BOG ADR for 5/13 for 6 that I'm not 100% we are going to keep. The plan is to decide the day before depending on how the kids are doing and the weather. I'm sure a lot of people do the same thing.

You can't get in without an ADR usually but keep checking. Also check the morning of if you can't ADR as people may be no show.

You seat yourself at both breakfast and lunch.

Definitely keep checking back; on our first trip, we got a breakfast res two days before our trip, and found a lunch res four days before our second trip. You can also try Touring Plans' reservation finder; it's free to use, and they'll send you an alert when a reservation pops up. You just have to be quick enough to grab it.

Agree with those above - try to get 2 or even 3 ressies for smaller groups and then have the first group get a large enough table for all of you. You get to choose your own table, so you can sit wherever you want.

Also.. If you can only find a reservation for 6 or something, grab it. Then go up to the area where you check in and ask if you can add the other 2. We had a reservation for 2. I went up and asked if we could add our 2 friends to our reservation and they said we could! This was for breakfast, and maybe a different situation, but you could always ask. Despite the negative reviews, we enjoyed the breakfast!

We saw them turn away ALL walk-up guests. They said they are reservation only for all meals.

If you make two or more reservations online at as close as possible in time you will need to create additional MDE accounts because the reservation system will not let you make a second reservation in your name when the times are too close together. It will ask if you want to cancel the first reservation so make the second reservation in a different MDE account. You can also call the dining line to explain why you need more than one reservation and the phone castmember will be able to make them in your account.
