BOG Strategy?

My 180+10 opens tomorrow, well today I guess, and my plan is to try for BOG on the Monday of our trip (we arrive Friday). It's a MMVCP day. We will not be attending the party, so want to get an ADR as close to 7 as possible. WE'd be OK with BOG on Friday instead of Monday, but figured we'd have a better chance at getting Monday.

ADRs open at 6am, right?

We have a party of 3 adults. Is it better to try for a table of 3 or a table of 4?

Yes ADR's open at 6 a.m. I am not sure what party size would be easier to get. When I did mine I was signed into one computer and my daughter was signed onto another both were signed in with my MDE information. This way she had a list of the reservations we wanted for the end of the trip and I worked on the beginning of our trip. We were in the same room so if we needed to make any changes we could. Just in case you have someone willing to help you.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.

I couldn't get an ADR for BOG at 180+10. Everything was already booked full. I tried again in a couple of weeks and was able to get one.

i usually just go day of and find a reservation thats the only way i got a table the 3 times i tried.

My 180+10 day was Friday. There was no BoG availability for the first five nights of our stay, but plenty after the seventh night. We basically could choose whatever we wanted.

So don't be surprised if you're limited to a night near the end of your stay.

Just need a clarification - were you both logged into the same MDE account or different MDE accounts with access to make ADRs for the entire party? We only have one MDE account, but if that works; we may try it. If we need to make another MDE account with access; we may try it. Please let me know because we wanted to really treat ourselves to a Christmas trip and weren't planning (my ignorance, I know) on having to compete with FD folks - so I need a strategy better than just 6am.

Same MDE account. I am the only one in my family that has one. I checked the night before to make sure it still worked and then logged us both in that morning about 5:45 in case I ran into any wackiness from the site.
