Is BOG dinner still as hard to get as it used to be? I'm trying for a party of 8 - window will open up in a few days. If I'm on right at 6am is there a shot? I'm hoping some of the initial enthusiasm has cooled off and they're becoming a little easier to get??? TIA

I've heard it's still hard to get. We got 1 for a party of 4 and were on right at 6. Even though I got a reservation I didn't get the night I wanted. I originally wanted out arrival night but they had nothing available. I did however manage to get our last night in Disney. I just switch things around so we are eating at CRT on arrival day and BOG on our last night so that wasn't a big deal to change those 2 around. Like I said though I have a party of 4 so it might be different with a party of 8. Worse case scenario just split the party of 8 up into 2 party of 4s around the same time. Maybe then when you get there u could ask for 2 tables together? I don't know if that would work though. I have never eaten there so I don't know what their policies are.

I was able to get BOG for a party of 7 on my 180+10 day for my upcoming July trip. I had to wait to call until 7 because the online system did not work for me. I got the day and the time I wanted, but I was looking to get it about 7 days into our trip.

Good Luck!

BOG is still among the most popular/hardest to get ADR at WDW. I would aim to make that ADR first, be online at 6:00 am, and try to schedule that dinner as far into your trip as possible. Remember that guests that arrived onsite before you have already had access to dates that fall within the "+10", so you stand the best chance of getting an ADR later into your trip (when fewer folks have had access to those dates).

Try as earlier as you can. It might help to split into 2 parties of 4. We're going the end of July, which are 180 days have been opening this week (don't have a resort reservation yet so I've been going day by day since we haven't tied down the arrival/departure dates yet) and I could've had BOG every night of the week if I wanted with going on in the morning (usually around 9 am too). I tried for a party of 7 though and couldn't get it so we have a party of 4 and a party of 3 (2 different families so 2 different Disney accts). So it is possible. Good luck!

Thanks all. We're not really interested in splitting up into separate tables so if we can't get a table of 8 we'll probably just eat somewhere else. We actually did that in September. There were 10 of us and we could only get 3 reservations at the same time. They weren't able to combine us during the reservation - we went early and asked. They did do a nice job of getting our tables close together but we'd prefer to sit together. Thanks for the feedback!
