My understanding is that BOG FP lunch is discontinued. Is that true?

Can you still do walk-up BOG lunch? And if so, what's the recommended arrival time to avoid most of the line?

BOG FP+ was eliminated in february.

since then you've been able to make an ADR for lunch up to 180 days out.

yes they still allow walk ups.
just arrive earlier as opposed to later to avoid the longest of lines.

btw they have been testing breakfast and just yesterday extended that to sometime in october i believe.
you can make an ADR for breafkast as well.

1. No more FP for lunch. Now you can make a reservation up to 180 days in advance like you can for a regular table service restaurant. BOG at lunch (and breakfast) is still counter service.

2. Maybe. You can always try as a last resort if you cannot get a reservation, but there is no guarantee that they will be accepting walk ups. It will depend on how busy it is at the time you arrive. There is a BOG thread on the Restaurants board where someone who ate there today said as they were entering the restaurant at 11:10 AM, all walk ups were being turned away.

As for breakfast, they are currently accepting reservations through July 18. Again, there is a long thread on the Restaurants board where as of this morning reservations still haven't opened up beyond that date, but many are hopeful that they will be soon. Apparently dates through Oct 3 have been loaded into the res system, but haven't gone live yet.

It's all done with regular ADRs now. Walkups might be possible, but not guaranteed.
