BOG QS Lunch Pre Order

after preordering BOG QS lunch I realized you are not able to split the check however we have 3 on dining plan and 2 who are paying oop will this be an issue?

I already have the ADR and preordered just wondering when we arrive how the payment will be handled - 5 adults only 3 have the ddp

It could be. Website still says you can't split the check, but we've seen reports where people have done so. Depending on who is in your party, you have two options. Use DDP credit to cover everyone and have non-DDP cover at another meal. Pay OOP for everyone and use your credits on another meal. If the 2 who want to pay OOP want alcohol with their meal, this would be a great use of a DDP credit and they can just pay you back by buying 2 of your regular meals at another QS place.

I confess I have no direct experience with this at BoG. But, even when you pre-order, you still have to check in with a CM who will confirm your order, ask if want any changes, take your payment, and give you your receipt. I wonder if the CM at that point could do something about splitting up the check.

They can and sometimes do, but they aren't supposed to do so. One of the reasons for preordering is to move the line along and get people into (and therefore out of) the restaurant quickly.

On our last 4 trips to BOG as a group of 8, they have offered to split the check once. We didn't take them up on the offer, but it is very possible you will be told no.

Usually you seat yourself at lunch. If a castmember seats you just tell them you're with the other group. It's not the same as being seated at a TS restaurant.

Correct. It's more or less open season at BOG at lunch, so if you find a table that seats all of you, that's fine. You won't get seated by a cast member, so it's up to you to find the best seating arrangement for your group.
