We just got back from a fantastic week at WDW and I can report that our PPO ADR at BOG was perfect. We went to MK on Thursday Feb 9 and had a reservation at 8:10am. We arrived at the entrance to MK around 7:40am and were directed to the left side once we cleared bag check, metal detectors, and the tap stiles. We waited with a small group until they opened the park around 7:50. Main Street immediately filled with people - and there were quite a few photopass photographers all the way up to the hub. At the partners statue, there were a couple more photographers.

We got a couple of castle shots and one in front of the Partners and then headed to the left toward BoG.

Breakfast was better than I was expecting! We were on the dining plan so value for price wasn't an issue - it was quick, hot, and delicious.

We ate quickly and were out the door to line up for 7DMT by about 8:40. There were maybe 20 people ahead of us. At 8:45 they let us on through the FP line and our DS4 rode his first rollercoaster. He loved it! We finished our first ride and ran around to get on a second time. We tried for a third time but literally missed it by 2 seconds because they opened the standby line just as we tried to re-enter the FP line again. And the standby line was huge. We felt so lucky to have been able to ride twice with no wait.

That was the start of a magical morning in Fantasyland for our family. We were flying high from 2 rides on 7DMT as we headed left to the Teacups, Dumbo, Barnstormer X3 (I have never ridden Barnstormer before and was surprised - it was a nice little coaster!), Little Mermaid, and the carousel all before 10am!!

We then did Mickey's Philharmagic before heading to Frontierland for a stop at the Shooting Gallery, lunch at Pecos Bills and our FPs for Splash and BTMRR.

By 12:30, we had done every attraction on our list in Fantasyland and Frontierland and we headed back to our hotel for a rest.

What an amazing morning in MK - our DS4 loved it. This was my 6th trip to WDW and was by far my favorite trip because my son loved it all so much.

One thing to add - BTMRR is 10 times the ride that 7DMT is! We fully explored the interactive standby line while waiting for BTMRR on our second ride and it was so much fun plus sitting in the back of that coaster is amazing - especially during wishes!!

Barnstormer X3 (I have never ridden Barnstormer before and was surprised - it was a nice little coaster!)

Congratulations on such a fantastic day in Magic Kingdom! We love Barnstormer, too. It amazes me that people will wait over an hour for a 30 second coaster, though! We try to catch it early, late or grab a FP later in the day (usually our 4th or 5th FP) I've never explored the interactive queue for BTMRR. Thanks for the tip on that one.

The standby for 7DMT was 120+ minutes! I commented to my husband that those people must hate Disney - I wouldn't want to waste half my day standing in line for any ride.

What is BTMRR?

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

In the standby line, there are generators you can wind up (I don't know what they are really called, sorry) and then push down the polunger next to them to set of an "explosion" next to the train tracks. My son loved it!

What an awesome morning! I've got BOG PPO in my plans for our next trip :)

And I agree - BTMR is awesome! Something about that ride just creates smiles and laughter. It's a classic for a reason! 7DMT is fabulous - but I too prefer BTMR.

I commented to my husband that those people must hate Disney
or just all the people in front of them
I agree with you on standing in line - live is too short to waster 2 hours in line for a ride.
Sounds like a a perfect MK morning! Where do you line up for 7DMT?

We had a great experience, too with our PPO BOG in January! We're all adults but we were so happy to ride SDMT twice before the crowds and thought the breakfast was very good!

I am so happy to hear this! We have a BOG reservation for 820 and are hoping to arrive early and catch 7DMT before everyone else is let in at rope drop! Our trip is in June, hoping there are no changes to park hours!

We did the same on Sun 2/5. We had an 8:10 BOG ADR - went in at 7:45ish and still able to take several great pics in front of the castle with no one in the background. Went right to BOG - extra fun surprise was that the CMs stood on either side of the entrance and applauded as we all entered in wonderful "Be Our Guest" style. lol
Enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in the West Wing room (GrDs fav & she ate every bite of her french toast) - great and quick service!
We were outside and in line by about 8:40, but this day they held us all behind/outside of the FP line. We could hear the show start at 8:55 and as the show ended at 9 AM and the huge line of guests came down the walkway, they finally let us all in and through the FP line and onto the ride. So we got one wonderful ride in and I was grateful for that. Last spring we were also able to get 3 rides in before the day guests were in line. So maybe some days they do it a bit different, but for now they are still letting the BOG guests in for at least 1 ride. It was a great way to start the day!

Sounds like a perfect MK morning! We often do the PPO Crystal Palace, not for position in line, just for the enjoyment of having the meal in the park, and coming out with a full belly just in time for the ropes to drop. It is a wonderful way to start the day.

Last August, we did the EMM event in Fantasyland. My wife and son did something like 7 rides in a row on 7DMT. I wound up riding I think 4 times, plus got to ride Peter Pan twice, and Winnie the Pooh twice, and then topped it off with breakfast just as Fantasyland was starting to get busy. I know it is an extra money event, but I think since you are getting breakfast with it, it is a pretty good value. The multiple rides on 7DMT with literally no wait is pretty well worth the price of admission by it's self.

Sounds like an awesome morning!! :)

But alas, we cannot give up our CP breakfast... just can't do it... even if we lose any crowd advantage with the new opening...

Maybe I'll try BOG for ONE breakfast in Aug... ... ... hmmm... :)

Its true about people hating Disney. The ones who do zero planning, roll down during Spring Break with all their kiddos in tow, and then have a terrible time with the crowds. Its really unfortunate, but at the same time, we need those people to exist so that those of us who know what we're doing can take advantage. Is that wrong? o_O

We were in Magic Kingdom last month, having an afternoon break after having a pretty amazing morning getting so much done like you guys. 7DMT was 180 minutes! There was a group of three families next to us and I overheard one Dad telling another that he would not do this again. "Waiting three hours for a ride is such a waste of a day!" My heart ached for them. I really wanted to sit them down and tell them about planning, and fastpasses, the whole nine yards. I know it's to our benefit, but I want everyone to feel the magic haha!!

So glad you had an awesome morning. We did PPO BOG one day of our trip and we loved it. The food was just okay for us, but that morning advantage can't be beat!
