BOG ordering question

I am going to Disney World with a friend in a few months. She has a reservation for her and her two children for breakfast. Her children are very picky eaters and do not eat a lot at all, but she wants them to have the experience. She was thinking she could go in and just order one meal for her and have her children eat off of her plate. We've eaten there before but never for breakfast. It says online that they get a plate of pastries and some fruit with their meals. Since she will be the only adult ordering, does she still get this and would it be bad for the kids to just eat off of this? Is this possible here or should she order each of them something? If she does need to order each of them something, can she get sides for the kids? She was hoping for an extra pastry and maybe some bacon and that's it. How does this all work? Thanks!

BOG is quick service for breakfast, you can order whatever you want. It's definitely possible to share.

2 of the kids in our family won't eat anything on the menu at BOG either. We are going to feed those 2 in the room before we head to BOG for a PPO ADR; the rest of us will order meals.

She can order as much or as little as she likes, and if she orders at least one meal, she will get the plate of pastries (4 pieces, I believe). However, the only things a la carte are cupcakes and drinks. She will NOT be able to order a side of bacon.
