I have a 10 day vacation, there is only a seven day window in booking a FP for BOG. I called Disney again today (tech support) and got a woman who first suggested I just visit BOG in the first 7 days of our vacation...but it's not going to work, we are visiting our last full day of our vacation. Long story short... she put me on hold and told me she was going to talk to her manager. She came back to me and told me that Disney doesn't have any control of that site right now, but what they are telling people to do is to make a reservation for a lunch FP at BOG for any of the first seven days of the vacation and take that reservation print out to BOG and explain that your vacation is longer then 7 days, and the site wouldn't allow me to book the last day of our vacation and they will honor the FP time even if a different day!?!?

Has anyone else been told this or better yet, have done this and had no problems being seated?

Thank in advance for your help.

The CMs have no idea about BoG FP+, and now they're just making stuff up. From what I can gather, the system will let you make reservations for the first seven days of your vacation only, but on day 2, you could get a FP+ for day 8, and on day 3 for day 9, and so on. I've never tried, but I wouldn't be optimistic about BoG honoring a FP+ in the way that the CM suggested. It would be better to wait til the day you want opens up . There will almost assuredly be times available.

OP, your problem has been going on for almost a year, unfortunately. We were in the same situation last year and tried talking to everyone we could think of and just got passed around. We were told the CM at the check-in would take care of it (not) they had no idea and suggested Guest services and they said go back to the restaurant it's their issue. There are a few threads on the restaurant board about this but it seems no one has had any success. As far as the rolling days to my knowledge that isn't working either. I hope you find a good answer that works. If you do please post your success as we will have the same situation again this Oct. Good Luck:)

Thanks, I certainly won't get my hopes up...but I'll give it a try and let you know...leave in 6 weeks.

i got an email several days ago to book BOG lunch. i had no problem doing it, but i did not receive a confirm number and the FP+ did not show up in the ones i have booked for rides. i called and talked to a cm who seemingly knew what she was talking about; we will see come May 19. good luck in booking!

Mine didn't show up in My Disney Experience either. Hopefully no problems...

Your BOG FPP won't show up in MDE because they are two separate systems and are not linked. If you have one, just hope the glitch gods don't mess things up. If you go on the BOG FPP site and can click on the view button, you should be fine. Don't have a clue why they only offer the seven day window like they do.:confused3

Good luck!
