Bog lunch

Just wanted to post a quick review about bog lunch we had on Tuesday . It was amazing! We all loved it! Most of us got the roast beef sandwich . I can't even tell you how great this sandwich was.

It was my favorite meal of the trip including qs and ts. The ambiance was wonderful! We were in the west wing. I loved how it thundered and lightning in that room. I also loved how they brought it to you and the fact that it was on real plates! I can't wait to try this meal again in November!

Oh ps try the gray stuff it WAS delicious !!!

We thought the food was delicious -- especially the roast beef sandwich.

However, the mass chaos of trying to find a table for six people was a real bummer.

After going through all the organization of the FP+ for the meal, and then the organized line for ordering I really expected more than just fending for ourselves trying to find a table to eat. Really … it would only take one more step on Disney's part to assign each party to a table.

We walked around the restaurant at least 3 full times before we finally found another family that saw us looking bewildered and they offered their table to us as they were almost finished with their meal.

I want to eat lunch at BOG in Sept. How do you get to the West Wing?
Is it real easy to find?

We experienced the cruising around for a table at our lunch too. We were a party of 8 and we didn't mind sitting at two tables but could not find seats for even 3 of us. We finally found a large round table in the ballroom but it hadn't been bussed yet.
We asked some servers to clear it and they responded they would, but waited almost 10 minutes for that. We were sitting at the table at this point, and when they finally came to clear it, they said we shouldn't sit down because they wouldn't know if we had already eaten and were just relaxing after the meal.

We told them we had asked someone to clear already, and also it appears they won't bus a table until there's no one sitting there. Our lunch fastpass was for 1:30 to 2:30 and it was very busy at that time but it was the only time available. Next time I would try a very early or late lunch. The food was very good.

It is just like any other CS restaurant at lunch time, so you have to get your own table, drinks, silverware, napkins etc.
