Someone just commented on a post on the Disboards facebook group that they got a return ticket during their lunch reservation at BOG to come back and meet Beast during dinner.

I'm curious because I've never heard of this before. Has anyone experienced this?

Never heard of it. Did they happen to have a bad experience and were allowed this for compensation? I would think this is not a common practice because those there having dinner are paying more for their dinner experience and to meet the beast, so with that i don't think they would be allowing lunch guests to return later to meet the beast. This would cause for long lines for the dinner guest and i know if that was me i would not be happy.

No. We've eaten there twice for lunch and twice for dinner. We never received tickets at lunch to come back to see the Beast nor were there people who had not dined at dinner lining up to see the Beast. Perhaps these people were pixie dusted. If they gave tickets out to the lunch guests to come back at dinner it would cause mass chaos.

That's exactly what I was thinking. She said she heard of someone else doing it so she asked an attendant at lunch and then brought it back at dinner time :confused3

Maybe they had some sort of sob story where their child's heart was set on meeting the beast but they couldn't get a dinner reservation and the CM felt really bad for them. Otherwise i doubt they'd just give out tickets like that

This is a Disney urban myth.

I'm inclined to believe you, but the poster on the DIS FB page says THEY actually did it. It's not a post of "I heard a friend of a friend of 2nd cousin...." They're saying they asked for a ticket and received one and went back and met the Beast without a dinner reservation.

My guess is they were pixie dusted, for whatever reason, but it's something that happens very rarely. As others have said, it would cause too much chaos.

People lie. People convert stories to be their own in order to make it sound more believable. Pics or it didn’t happen. Even then, they may fake it.
