BOG lunch reservation success

I was able to secure a reservation for lunch in late January for 2, but needed one for 3. I'll keep checking to see if I can get one for 3 and cancel the one I now have. Question - Will they let the 3 of us in even though we only have a reservation for 2?

No, they will not.

Try to find an ADR for 1 rather than 3, within 15 minutes of your existing.

I'm shocked that it's so difficult for some to find an ADR for BOG at lunch especially when they have a small party.
I was able to get one for 16 people at noon the week leading up to Easter no problem.

I would do what PP suggested and look for an ADR for one person around the same time as the one you already have.
If they are close in time you can all walk in together.

Thanks for the help. I was able to get a reservation for one 30 minutes from my original. I'll keep looking to see if I can get the same time or within 15 minutes. Do you think they will let all 3 of us in at the same time with 2 reservations 30 minutes apart?

Maybe. The spread's a bit high for prime lunch time. They do book to the number of seats at lunch, rather than table sizes.

I think you are right. 30 minutes might be pushing it. At least I have something before I arrive, but I'll keep checking. It looks like I may have better luck getting exactly what I want 24-48 hours before.

Possibly but don't count on it.
30 minutes is a pretty big time difference.
Keep trying to get a closer time but if you can't just explain the situation when you go to check in and they may allow it.
