BOG Lunch - Quick Service Plan 2017 question

I just snagged BOG lunch reservations for our party of 6! We have the 2017 Quick Service Meal Plan. Forgive me if this has been covered elsewhere, I searched but didn't see it. My question is, the entrée and drink are part of the plan, but the dessert is no longer included for 2017. If we want to order a dessert and a meal, this would count as 1 QS credit and 1 snack credit, correct?

That is always a possibility as well. Last year when we went we had so many snack credits left over that I'm not too concerned about it. Unless there's a better use (money-wise in savings) of a snack credit?

And the QS and Snack must be in two transactions.

- If you preorder I would not add the cupcakes until you get there. The CM at the register inside can then handle the second transaction properly.
- If you order and pay at the kiosks, do 2 different transactions. Order your QS credit meals, close out. Start again and order your snacks.

You can also substitute the cupcake for the drink & either pay OOP for a soda or just drink water. It will be filtered, so no nasty taste.

It has been reported on several threads that BOG is implementing non-substituting rules regarding drinks. It does make sense there since the other items cost much more than drinks .... and for the reason below. Folks have even asked for a manager and told the same.

At BoG, you cannot substitute the drink for another snack item any longer. Apparently, too many people were abusing the self-serve drink stations, and helping themselves to a regular drink instead of water after subbing for the drink.

I was really surprised they have the drink cups just sitting there. I wonder if it's because so many use the dining plan that it's not worth handing them out at the registers.
