BOG Lunch dessert only?

Can I use my snack credits for cupcakes during my BOG fast pass time? We want to experience the castle/restaurant but we don't want to eat a full meal there. I have a BOG fastpass reservation for lunch but we just want to get cupcakes. Can we use a snack credit for the cupcakes?
