BOG Lunch and Dinner?

We're going to WDW next week. I have a BOG lunch reservation on our first day and a dinner on our last.

Is that overkill? I mean, I know Beast is at dinner but I'm wondering if the experiences are different enough to warrant going twice in one trip?

We're definitely doing lunch but I'm unsure about dinner. I'd love opinions! Thanks!

I personally think once is enough. What's great about the BOG experience is the castle itself. I've eaten there several times and the food was fine but not great. I would rather experience something else. :)

We did lunch and dinner in the same trip and I was glad we did. If I had to choose one, I would have picked dinner, because it's more of the whole package.

I've said it many times on here- we do all 3 meals there. My family loves it and we think it's a great value if you have the dining plan.
It's our favorite place to eat in MK.

Last trip and for our January trip- we have 2 meals planned in the same day there- spaced apart :) It's our break in the day since we do not leave the parks.

Our favorite though is dinner. The atmosphere and meeting the Beast!

Only you can decide if it's overkill. I have done BoG three times for dinner in 10 days and absolutely loved it each and every time.

The experiences are lunch and dinner are very different. The menu, the atmosphere. Beast only meets during dinner. I really like the menu choices for dinner.

If you only wanted to visit once, I would choose dinner.

As a previous poster mentioned, the only thing worth going here for is the castle itself. We had dinner and breakfast. It ws fantastic to see the castle, with the bonus of meeting the beast, but the food was mediocre at best. I heard lunch is the best food of all meals, but the Beast is not there for lunch. I suppose having lunch there would be no better/worse than having a QS lunch anywhere in the park, so maybe 2 meals would be fine. ONce you have the experience, on a future trip only go once!! (if at all)

My husband and I love to eat here because it offers different food than the other quick service places (especially for me as a vegetarian). We were just there two weeks ago and did lunch one day and dinner another day.

I've never dined at BOG so we're also doing lunch and dinner. I don't know when we'll be back (it's taken us 2 years to save for this trip) so we wanted to get to all the experiences we could in the 10 days we are there. I agree with Disney1975, do it for the experience and then next trip maybe do BOG once. Unless you really enjoy both :)

We enjoy the lunch. It's great to go in and check out the different rooms. With the dining plan, it's very good value.

In May, we did the dinner. It was fine and the meal was fine. I'm glad we did it but we're not going to repeat next year. It's nice to see the Beast; however, my 2-year-old probably disagrees.

The lunch is great because it's nice to sit down, out of the sun, in an air-conditioned environment. It's nice to check out the details during the day.
