BoG Frustration

Another victim of 0 dinner availability 180+9 days out at Be Our Guest.
No tables for dinner for any size party on my dates
Breakfast and Lunch were all wide open
I have set up alerts, so we will see how lucky we are.

Oh that is frustrating! I am feeling increasingly lucky. My 180 days was about 15 days ago. I managed to snag BOG dinner at approx the time I wanted, on the first choice of days - I can now see that I was incredibly lucky! I wonder if it is because MNSSHP has reduced the amount of booking slots, as party nights of course don't have bookings after about 6.30 I think?

Party nights and times are sometimes released later, aso you must have a party ticket to snag an ADR after 6:15 I believe. So keep watching, set up a watch on Touring Plans.

We have gotten all of our BoG reservations through a touring plans alert and we have been 4 times now. You will get something!!!

The fact that you were trying for 180+9 leads me to believe dinner reservations for that day have not been opened up yet. Only guests arriving the day before you with 10-day vacations or more had access before you. I would keep a close eye on this and check multiple times per day. Very unusual for no availability at 180+9.

ETA: Assuming your ADR window opened this morning I'm guessing you were trying for November 3rd? No parties scheduled that night so I don't think that would be the issue. Of course, I'm doing a lot of assuming here,and you know what they say about assumptions,LOL.

Could be a party night and no tables are right now available. Between the Halloween and Christmas MK at times has mulitple party nights a week.

I agree that the decreased availability may be because the number of evenings open to book is drastically reduced.

I'm in the same exact boat OP. I am hoping the Touring Plans finder comes thru. And I'm also checking for ADRs every time I'm on line.

Even if there is not a party THAT night, if there are parties that time of the year then it will impact availability on ALL nights. Everyone who wants an ADR for an evening at MK is stuck with looking at the same handful of nights. The non party nights at MK are very busy.

Yes I agree. Parties in MK have an effect on non-party nights as well. In my experience though, no availability at 180+9 is very rare. Especially considering that OP was apparently up at 6am EST to book. Leads me to believe something is quirky with BOG dinner res. that night. It's also possible that because it's 180+9, ADR hoarders are booking multiple time slots and will slowly begin to release them as their plans become more concrete. Either way, if OP sets up an alert on TP res. finder they are all but guaranteed to snag one in the next 6+ months.

I believe you will be able to get something, the timing is any ones guess. My theory is this is just a busy weekend---Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday are the Wine & Dine 1/2 Marathon weekend and it crashed right into "Jersey" week, which is officially the following week but I am sure you have some early arriving guests. Best of luck going forward!

I'm taking my DD and granddaughter to the MK for 1 day - August 17. I didn't start looking for a BOG dinner ADR until well past the 180 day mark. At first, there was absolutely nothing. Then, one day as I was randomly checking, there was an 8:05 dinner and I booked it. Problem is, we want to see the fireworks so that time really isn't going to work. For a long time, there was availability for 9:05 and 9:20. Definitely not eating that late. Then, free dining hit and there's not a dinner ADR to be had. I'm going to keep trying to find an earlier time. If I don't get it, I've got a back up dinner ADR at Liberty Tree Tavern. Also, I did manage to get an 8:05 breakfast ADR so my grandaughter (who has never been to WDW) will at least get 1 meal in Beast's Castle!

Sign up to *********** . com. It is a reservation finder for Disney. That is how I finally got a 7:15 dinner. It's free and works good.

I used it today. I wanted a later lunch for 5/9, yes, this coming Tuesday in 5 days. I was notified TWICE this afternoon of availability. The first notification I missed, so I resubmitted and shortly there after and received another notification. I clicked the link in my email, it directs you to your mde, I signed in and it automatically had the reservation ready for confirmation! Give it a try. You have nothing to lose.

Gotta keep trying. Sadly our orig sch trip this past Feb got cancelled and I had multiple BOG amassed for that trip all around 6pm. It took awhile with orig having several ones post 7:30 which is too late. Over time I got much better times it just takes persistence. Our trip prior to that we got to go twice with good dinner times. My wife loves the place ... and you know happy wife ... happy life. Just keep trying.

I'm having the same issue for a party of 3 in that date range. Up & checked at 6 AM, had an 8:35 dinner res in my hands, and then got "Stitched". I set an alert & will keep trying, but I'm assuming the increased party schedule is impacting availability. That, or they're holding some back (happened once or twice in the past). Either way, good luck to all of us!

It is frustrating! I have an ADR but need to change it to earlier. It's a pain.
