BOG for lunch...how does it work?

My family has experienced dinner at BOG and it was wonderful. What I loved the most was the atmosphere. Next October, our extended family (10 people total) are venturing to the World. Due to budget concerns, we would like to try BOG for lunch. Can someone please walk me through the logistics of this? There are three family groups: two families of 4 (kids ages 13, 11, 8 and almost 5) and grandpa and grandma. Is it open seating for lunch or are you assigned a table? I ask because I assume it will be easier to get 3 separate ADR's than it would be to get one for a group of 10.

Please advise...thanks!

BOG seats more folks during breakfast and lunch than at dinner so booking for 10 should not be an issue. The seating is open, and that place is massive, so even sitting together should not be a problem. The only thing that may be an issue is if you are all on one ADR and you preorder. You must use one magic band, I believe.

Iknow that you are booking for financial reasons, but this is one of my favorite lunch spots. Better than the dinner, IMO!

Thanks! Another question...I typically order kids meals for myself since I am not a big eater and neither is my DD13. If I "pre-order", will there be a problem if we order 4 kids meals with only 2 kids on the ADR? If so, should we then just wait and order when we get there? Also, what is the advantage to pre-ordering? Do you just skip the line at the kiosk?

We didn't pre-order this past July and if the nice CM didn't ask us if we wanted to place our meal order with her when we stepped into the place we would have been standing in a very long line waiting for a kiosk. So we placed our order and found seats in about 3 minutes vs. waiting in a line that would have probably taken 10-15.

We had 9 in our party. We were on 2 separate dining plans but because the reservation was made as 1, we preordered, we had to pay using 1 dining plan. So we didn't run short on dining credits, I used my credits for all of our breakfasts at BOG and my sister in law used her dining plan for all of our lunches.
