BOG for breakfast questions?

I was able to snag a pre RD ADR for BOG for one day on our upcoming trip. It is actually on the day we check in so we will be driving directly to the park. What time does the monorail / ferry start running? Also, can we get just the Master's cupcake, we really only want to try the gray stuff and have very little interest in the breakfast itself and the benefit of the early ADR is we can take photos of the park with fewer people in it. If I have to buy the breakfast at $24 per person I will probably cancel, not worth that price for photos.

I believe they just added ala carte options for breakfast, so you should be able to order whatever you would like. It is quick service, so you will order at the kiosk and then head to a table of your choosing, where they will bring you your food. As for the times the monorail/ferry start running, I know it can depend on the day, so you might want to call Disney transportation for definitive answers on that. We loved BOG and it is an awesome place for some cool pics!

Do you know where the al a carte items are posted or if they are? They are not on the website menu. Also, I believe you can order ahead of time, how does one do that?

The only items I know they offer ala carte are the Master's Cupcake (the grey stuff) and drinks. At this time, I don't think you can get any other items by themselves. On your My Disney Experience account, under your dining reservations, there will be a link next to Be Our Guest for "online ordering" which is where you can order ahead of time. You do still need to stop at the kiosk and verify your order once you arrive at the restaurant even with online ordering. You can online order within 30 days of your reservation date. OK, I did see the cupcake listed. That is really all we are interested in for breakfast. I actually have a lunch ADR there as well that day. The food for lunch is much more appealing. The primary reason for the breakfast ADR is to get in the park and take some photos of the kids while there is fewer people there. Of course as with everyone else, we will look at riding the Mine train, but I plan to get a FP for it later in the day so we can skip it if needed. I just want to make sure there is not a minimum amount that we need to order there. We would probably just get a drink and cupcake. Then go out and take some family photos.
