BOG Dinner Timing?

The only reservation I could get so far for our party of 5 is for 4:30. What time do you realistically think this means we will be eating? If it's 5 or later, then that is great, but 4:30 is just a bit too early for us.
Thoughts?

I think you'll be fine. It isn't possible to actually eat at 4:30 unless you get in early, as you have to be seated & order, etc., and there may be a wait to get in. There is also a 15 minute or so grace period for being late. If the actual eating time is so important, show up at 4:40, to add a little time cushion in. (I don't recommend being more than 10 minutes late, though.)

Eating dinner at that hour, I recommend having a light snack in lieu of lunch.

Thanks! We've only been to BOG for lunch and they are so fast (plus we preorder) that I'm afraid the food will show up 10 minutes after we order. I have no idea what to expect of the dinner.

When we get times like this because that's all that's available, we use the 15 grace period to our advantage. We also have a BOG at 4:30 one of our nights and we plan on showing up at 4:40, requesting a specific room to sit in to help delay things even longer, and knowing it will probably take at least 10-15 minutes to be seated. We've never been seated right at ADR time at BOG. Once you sit down, it may take a while for your server to show up, but once they do, the meal is pretty well paced. You can ask the server to give you 10 minutes to look over the menu, once you get your drinks. Food does come out quickly, but not as fast as it does at lunch. It's definitely possible to make it so food doesn't hit your table until closer to 5:30.
