BOG Dinner this fall-how many days past 180

I'm going in Sept with my sister. This is her first trip and Im really excited about a girls trip with no kids. I would really like her to experience BOG but it shows the Park closing really early that night and even at 180 days no luck. So from reading this it sounds like maybe the Park really won't close that early (or maybe I misunderstood). I have been trying to see if anything opens every few days; maybe I should look everyday now. I did make a lunch time reservation (which I did'nt even know you could do) but would MUCH rather have dinner.

What days are you going?

The day you want is probably MNSSHP and therefore you'd need a special events ticket in order to be in the park. Those reservations are most likely scooped up by now, though.

You are right! I guess I just didn't think about it being Halloween so early!! I am in town for a conference and we are staying over at the Universal Property until the last night. We have two days to do Disney so I choice Epcot and Magic Kingdom in that order on 9/15 and 9/16. May have to rethink that. I choose Epcot because we have nothing like it in CA and MK because well what is a visit without going to this park. My sister does NOT like Halloween and since we don't have kids with us I think skipping MNSSHP would be best even if we could get tickets (which sounds like we could'nt). THANKS!!

I'd definitely flip it, yes.

9/15 - MK
9/16 - EPCOT

Decorations will be up, so, that's about as Halloween-y as it's gonna get when you're there, haha!

ETA: I just checked availability for BOG on the 15th and yep, nothing.

It doesn't sound like the Halloween party would be your thing, but the tickets haven't gone on sale yet, so you would be able to get tickets if you decided you wanted to. The park is open for general guests (with regular day tickets) until 7:00 p.m. Party guests with a party ticket can enter as early as 4:00 p.m. and then the party goes till midnight. If you decide you don't want to do the party, you may want to do MK on the 15th and EP on the 16th. With it being food and wine Epcot will be busy both days, but right now MK is a recommended park on both days as well based on easywdw crowd calendars. Hope that is helpful!

Has anyone been able to get a dinner reservation in October on a party night? We will be there the last week of October and ideally would like BOG for our last MK day which is a party night. We're staying on site so I plan to try at 6am the day our reservations open, but we are only staying 6 nights so not sure we have any realistic shot at BOG dinner....

Yes- I found it was easier to book on a party night. It was the same way last year. The availability was early though mostly in the 4:30 to 5:45 range.

Before I join, could you tell me how this works?
Oh wow! My apologies, I thought they had made it available to non-subscribers as well. I'm a subscriber but this is how it works: provide the information (restaurant, party size, date, meal/time, email, phone) and it will send an email/text when the reservation is available. The text will contain the direct link to snag the open ressie but it won't hold the opening for you so you'll have to be somewhat quick at responding.

I was lucky enough to get my BOG reservation right at the 180+10. Also when I checked they had plenty of options for the days and times that I was interested in. I also noticed that all the hard to get places still had opening. I could have gotten V&A if I wanted it but decided to go with Jiko instead. I guess it is just luck that I was able to get what I wanted and for when I wanted.

Was it dinner at BOG? (I've been able to see breakfast and lunch times at 180 days but not dinner)...also - how many days into your trip did you see the days (i.e. The first day of your trip vs the last day)...

My 180 mark was this past Sunday. Was up way early, bright eyed and excited. I had to go 8 days into our trip to find an ADR available for a normal dinner time

Yes it was for dinner. I saw they had times available from the second day till the end of my 8 day trip.

180+8 Got the BOG Dinner ADR for 5:30. Looked to be plenty of available times.

Edit: This is for Wed Oct 19 PM EMH.

Thanks! We will be there at the same time , but I can't make ADRs until Sunday morning (we're there Oct. 14-22)...trying for Sunday, Oct. 16th for dinner but if I could get Tuesday the 18th, I may rearrange our park days...we have a split stay, so I can't take full advantage of the +10...I signed for alerts through touring plans as well (based on great advice from this thread!) so if I can't make the reservation that I want on Sunday, I'm hopeful I'll be able to snag one sometime in the next 6 months pixiedust:

Sorry to hijack...

To book the 180+10 do you have to call or can they be done online? My ADR's open in 3 days and I'm trying to make sure I've got it all figured out.

Either.
