Hello, so I am beyond frustrated, I was up by 6 am at 180 days and had a BOG dinner reservation for 3 and when I went to book it MDE glitched and then I could only make it for 2. I haven't been able to modify or find a new reservation for 3. It says my reservation is for 2 adults leaving my 6 year old daughter off the reservation, anyone had any experience with this? Can we all 3 just show up? I will keep trying for a new reservation/to modify but just wondering if this has happened to anyone else before.

Thanks in advance.

You could try canceling the ADR for 2. One for 3 COULD show up as a result. Also try searching for 4. Sometimes that has better luck.

Showing up to the podium with an extra person could be a problem at popular restaurants, like BOG. They may be able to accommodate you, but no guarantees. Showing up with 1 too few people is never a problem, and they'll seat you.

I've been using Touring Plans reservation finder and was able to get the reservations I wanted at Be Our Guest. It's a free service provided on the Touring Plans website (you don't have to pay for the subscription to use the reservation finder). If you aren't able to grab a reservation when the system alerts you, you can just go back into your Touring Plans account and reset it. I am betting it will work well for you since you have 180 days. I am under 40 days out and was alerted three times this week, enabling me to get my reservations.

In general, I will mostly say "never show up with an extra, it is risky."

BOG dinner is perhaps the least risky. Now, I wouldn't show up with a spare Boy Scout troop, 8 extra people, or the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra as extras. But BOG dinner is booked to fill a fraction of the restaurant, as capacity is far lower than number of chairs at dinner. Kitchen is the constraint.

I would keep trying to add a person. Look for bookings for 4 as well, as for whatever reason most people have better luck with 4 vs. 3. But worst case scenario, show up with the kid.
