I was told that if I go to BOG, then I should definitely go for dinner. I already have an ADR for breakfast though. Besides the beast showing up only at dinner, is there anything else that happens during dinner that doesn't happen during breakfast or lunch?

Dinner is table service, while breakfast and lunch are quick service. The only good reason to keep your breakfast reservation is if it is anytime before MK opens, because it is very enjoyable to walk in to a nearly empty MK at 7:45 am when the park doesn't open until 9am. There is the possibility of riding 7DMT before the opening crowds arrive. You could always do dinner too. I hear the steak is great.

I was wondering the same thing- we have a lunch ressie- I know it's CS and dinner is TS, but wondering more about how the experiences are different.

I haven't done breakfast or lunch but I did do dinner and all I can say is I loved the atmosphere was terrific and not as crowded at least for the time i went. We are doing it again when we go this fall.

We've done lunch 3X,dinner 2X and will do breakfast in August. The difference between the two dinners was totally opposite- first was awful and second was really nice. The big difference was where we were seated. The first time,we were given the worst table. It was right there, when you walk in,and right opposite the doorway to the Beast. There were people either bumping into us or the table, or standing over us,in line, waiting to see the Beast. The second time was last December. We were able to get the table next to a window AND next to the Christmas Tree. Watching the snow fall every few minutes while next to the tree added to a magical evening feeling. The food was fine,no complaints and servers were great. Sit where you really want to,don't settle. Lesson learned.

No Beast at breakfast and lunch. People wandering around getting their own drinks, napkins, and silverware. Sometimes a long line to select food on a screen and pay. Dinner is more relaxing. But of course the dining rooms are the same, so the decor is the same.

So, with the exception of table service, and the beast showing up, dinner is pretty much the same as breakfast and lunch?

The food! Big difference. The food at dinner really is great and it is the only meal we will do at BOG after doing lunch and dinner. The breakfast menu doesn't really appeal to us, we'd rather do Crystal Palace if we want to eat in the MK. We loved meeting the Beast after dinner too. The experience between QS and table service is noticeable. We felt lunch was a bit hectic,

I have done both and both are great. If it is not necessary to meet the Beast, then by all means do lunch. I wound never spend $24 for breakfast tho.

The food at dinner is very good. Lunch is mainly sandwiches and breakfast is overpriced. If you can get your hands on a stawberry cupcake, do it!

All three meals are in the same location, but I find the atmosphere different. I've been to lunch and dinner 3x each. Lunch has a more cafeteria type atmosphere. I never noticed the area where people get their own silverware and drinks during dinner. There are also a lot of cast members wiping tables and wheeling around large carts of dirty dishes, because of the faster turnover. The ordering stations are also covered during dinner.

That being said, I actually prefer the lunch. As QS meals go, I think is is very good.

I have been once solo for lunch and once for dinner with my family (all adults). I agree about finding the atmosphere different. Lots of counter service like activity going on at lunch - very "busy".. Dinner was much more relaxed. For my family, we thought the food was okay - and that everyone should dine there at least once to experience the castle. I think we would have enjoyed breakfast there. If your breakfast ADR works in your plans, I would keep it. Enjoy the experience.

The first time we are there was for dinner and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. The second time was for lunch and the atmosphere was fine again. I actually enjoy the food at lunch more - it is better than typical QS while the dinner menu is limited and the food just ok.

I found very little difference between lunch and dinner. I would keep the breakfast reservation for the experience.

I've been for lunch and dinner. I do prefer dinner. You get The Beast, a great waiter, and something that no one has mentioned. You can actually drink beer and wine at dinner!
