BOG Dinner or Akershus Dinner

We are fans of both BOG and 1900PF. For food, I'd definitely pick BOG but for the princess themed day, I'd pick 1900 PF. We always have the best interactions with characters at 1900 and of the buffets- it's our favorite for dinner.

Thanks! Just not sure if it would be too much Cinderella in one day, ya know? But since we are on the DDP and my son will be 2, I feel like buffets are the best use of the dining plan for us since he's free. Otherwise we still end up paying OOP for his meal at places like BOG or we share with him. But he's a big eater so sharing won't always be enough for him I think.

BOG Theming is AMAZING! Their food I though was really good as well plus you get to meet the beast at the end of your meal which my DS was SOOO excited for. 1900 Park Fare on the other hand is a true character experience where the characters come to your table. The food is pretty good for a Disney buffet and the step sisters and step mother is really really funny. We love 1900 Park Fare, but we also loved BOG...thats a hard decision, LOL

Thanks for all the suggestions! I think we are now either going to stick to BOG dinner for that day or maybe do 1900 Park Fare for dinner. I think I'm going to try and do a PPO Breakfast at Akershus another day to try and get an advantage on the new Frozen attractions so I don't think we need to do 2 Akershus meals in 1 trip. Thoughts on BOG vs. 1900 PF?

I was going to chime in and suggest 1900 PF if you cannot get BOG. Prince Charming is there as well as Lady Tremaine and the Stepsisters, who are hysterical!

Also, sometimes Charming (who I found adorable but boring) dances with young princesses.....just saying.

IMO, Askerus food is better... when you throw in the PRINCESS' seems like a no brainer to me..

i was literally 'drug' to Akershus with DiL/GD in November. I ate 'my words'along with a great seafood buffet (salmon heaven lol).

pork chop was better than the one I enjoy @ BoG, as was the mac & cheese.

for me, the big draw was the face time with the princesses. Loved the parade and the staff was charming.

I put it #1 on the princess dining list, yes, ahead of CRT which imo is a one & done for atmosphere only.

1900 is a hoot, especially if you have sons, but still give the nod to Akershus.

Thanks! I've heard great things about the interaction at 1900 PF. Just wasn't sure if it would be princess overload if we are also doing CRT the same day and then Akershus at a later date during the same trip. Decisions, decisions!

I have been to both and love each of them! I would say since you are already going to CRT, I would go to BOG! IMHO I feel everyone should try and experience BOG at least once! It's amazing!
