BOG Dinner - No 180

We are staying at the BCV Oct 30th -Nov 4th I snagged a BOG at 180 days out the night before we leave at 8:25 ( didn't want to lose it) I would prefer something else a few days before. I would just like to relax at the parks the day before we go home and going to a dinner that late and having to rush back would be a pain. I am looking everyday a few times a day to see if I can get a different reservation so I can cancel the one I have.

I was able to get a 6:45pm reservation for 5 for our trip in late August yesterday. I had pretty much given up looking and was actually looking for something else and it popped up.

I had no trouble getting a reservation for BOG in May '13, but I'm having no luck for this Dec. Crossing my fingers that something opens up!

I was able to get a 6:45pm reservation for 5 for our trip in late August yesterday. I had pretty much given up looking and was actually looking for something else and it popped up.

I had the exact same thing happen last week. Four months of searching finally paid off!

I'm so over this!! I just want a reservation for 6. Is that really too much to ask?? We've been to DW 4 weeks since BOG opened and we have never been able to get reservations. No matter how many people the ressie is for. I've called, tried online, tried different times of the day and night. Just done. We will be there again Aug 31-Sept 7 and will not be going to BOG...again. :/

I forgot to mention, when I called reservations, the CM suggested we just have lunch there. I explained that we have had lunch there a few times, but really want dinner so we can experience that and also to see Beast. She then told me there are no characters at BOG at all. I told her that I understood there are no meet and greets, but that Beast is there. She was very certain and assured me that there are NO characters there at any time whatsoever. What???

Beast is there, although he is not absolutely guaranteed to be there (if no "Friends of Beast" happen to be available, he won't show up).

WOW. that's a pretty broad bush you're using, there. Plenty CM's have been to the Parks and many of them actually have worked there.

What MM states is true. It's listed in the Policy that is read to the Guest before the reservation is made. BOG is not a character meal and the Beast is not guaranteed to be there at any time.
