Does anyone know if food can be modified as BOG dinner? We really want to eat there for the atmosphere and experience but neither my husband nor MIL like mushrooms, which seem to appear in most of the dishes. I was wondering if the food was able to be modified to be made without mushrooms, or if the food is pre-made and therefore can't be customized. Thank you in advance!

I asked this same question yesterday, and quite a few people chimed in and informed me that they are extremely accommodating (should have known, because most WDW restaurants are), and will allow substitutions, exemptions, etc! Hope that helps!

Thank you! Somehow I missed that post. Oops!

We had dinner there in 2014 and I don't recall the details, but I'm certain my family would have had modifications...and we had no mushrooms :)

?? I'm having a hard time finding any dishes on the dinner menu that contains mushrooms other than the ratatouille or the truffle butter on the chicken. The truffle butter is easily omitted. But the ratatouille is a layered dish that would be assembled well ahead of time by the prep cooks.

Thanks.
I used mushrooms as the main example, which is lists in the ingredients of the shrimp and scallops, chicken, ratatouille and braised pork. So I was more or less using that as an example to determine how much they could customize a meal to individual tastes. They also don't like artichokes, which is listed with the lamb chop, and my MIL doesn't eat fish so that rules out the catch of the day. What can I say, they have limited palates!

Sauces can be left off. Sides can be swapped around. A dish like ratatouille is composed well ahead of the meal. Look at the menu and then see if there are entrees that you would like that are not casseroles or mixed dishes. Steaks and Chops can be plain.

BOG lunch question..Instead of dijon mustard, can they do regular you think?
