BoG dinner lately

anyone been successful getting a BoG dinner lately? I have been checking at 180 days for kicks and there is nothing... but I will have my 180+10 open up and want to book it for a thursday (christmas party day) about 7 days in... I want a 4ish for 2 people. Is ANYONE getting those times? I thought they had released the ADR times during the party times? maybe I should get a backup

I started checking for our early sept dates when we booked about a week ago and was able to get a lunch and 2 dinners that I am trying to decide between. The dinners were not optimal times (like 9-10pm) but the lunch I got was at 2pm so I'm happy with that. I keep checking every day to try and catch an earlier dinner but no luck so far.

When we booked dining, a nice CM told us to start at the furthest day out for BOG/CRT becuause we would have the furest days beucase our FIRST day might be durign someone else's +10

I managed a 6:30 dinner on a MNSSHP night. I got it inside the 180 day mark. I also got an alert for 2 7PM reservations for the same day this morning.

It does look as though based on the wording on reservations and for restaurant hours, any ADR after 6:20 will require a party wristband. Not sure if that's at all an issue for you.

What is 180 + 10?

You book on your 180th day, but if you're a resort guest you have the ability to book the first 10 days of your trip after the fact.

So, my trip is on September 2nd, but I could book up until September 11th for my ADRs.

I am inside 180 days (163 to be precise ) and noticed today lots of availability for dinner appear during our trip! Think its MNSSHP dates but 6.45, 7.00, 7.15. I checked a few dates in case was just one funny day but several with same availability and a few on non party nights that had 8pm slots.

I will have a party wristband but want more like a 4pm dinner so will be vying with those people for the early reservation. If I can't get the early dinner at BoG I will do 3:45 at ohana instead.

What is 180 + 10?

For those staying on site - you can do your meals at 180 days + 10 days out from that - so If 180 days from today I was checking in, I would be able to do my dining reservations for 11 days total

I paid for Touring Plans and it comes with a reservation tracker. It has been very helpful.

Can't speak for this year, since BOG dinner adrs didn't open up until after our 180 day mark - we did get it though with no problem when they finally released them!

But I will say, last year I had no problem getting BOG dinner on our MVMCP night at the 180 day mark. I had a 10 day trip, and got a 4:30pm ADR with no problem on day 8. I hope they don't wait and release them a month after your 180 day mark like they did for a lot of us going in September lol. Good luck! And great job shooting for the earlier dinner - this worked out perfectly for us last year on our mvmcp night (Nov 12th), and we were able to enjoy and not rush dinner and were done with an hour before the party started.

We actually just decided on a late July Disney Trip, and within a week of booking (a little less than 90 days out) I was able to find several, I got a 6:40pm there and an 8:30 on another day, I found midnight is a great time to check and around 6am if you are up, but i actually found mine by checking about 10 times during the day. If you don't get anything before your trip, just check every day you are there, the 24 hour cancellation policy usually generates availability. Good Luck
