BoG breakfast - early entry

I've got a 9:15am ADR for BoG breakfast on a day the park opens at 9. I'd like to see if I could get into BoG earlier (say 9am - because that's when they'll start trying to seat you earlier)

Can I get into the park say around 8:30/8:45 to do so?

You probably won't get entry through the early ADR entrance. Most days, they let people in 5 to 15 mins early. If you get there by 8:15ish, you'll be able to go through security and ticketing. Then it's a matter of waiting for the RD show and ropes to come down.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the only ones allowed into the park before opening are those guests who currently have a pre-opening ADR. I think you'd be much better off checking availability every day- and there are cancellation threads on the dining board where you might be able to grab something.

We had 2 sets of morning reservations I was able to switch out for earlier times, and I really didn't check often.
