BOG and the Beast

Can anyone tell me if we will see the Beast after our dinner at BOG. I read some posts where it says people see him. However, in the description of the dinner on the Disney website, it doesn't mention The Beast at all. Thank you!

BOG dinner is not a character meal, and the appearance of the Beast is never guaranteed. Most of the time, he will be there and you can visit him in his meeting area.

No guarantees, although he is generally there every night. I think I've read where he is not expected to be there on MNSSHP and MVMCP nights, though.

He was there on our MNSSHP night last year. Our ADR was at 4:05, so he might disappear closer to the party?

He's usually there. He isn't guaranteed to appear though.

We also saw him at our dinner around 9:00 (MNSSHP night).

I know my T&C for a 6:30 ADR on a party night said he wouldn't be there. Whether that means anything or not, I don't know.

BOG is not a character meal. At a character meal, there will be several characters walking from table to table to meet those who are dining. At BOG you have a photo op the Beast in his study/library after you finish dining. He walks through the dining rooms to get to the study, but he does not stop at any of the tables.

Disney doesn't guarantee that you will meet the Beast because there is always the possibility that he might become ill or be unable to appear during the evening. However, that is rare and I have not seen any posts where someone said the Beast was unavailable.

We have eaten dinner there four times and he has always been there. It is pretty special to hear the music and see him walk through the ballroom. Good to understand that he might not be there, though. It stinks to have expectations that are not met.

Thank you everyone! We have our reservations for 6:30 on a party night, so maybe we should just save BOG for our next trip. Such a hard decision because it is my DDs favorite.
