i thought I read that you can pre-order breakfast online before your meal to save time. We are going tomorrow morning (Tuesday) and I'd like to order today but couldn't find anyplace to do it in My Disney Experience. Can you only order at the kiosk at the restaurant?

It's been awhile since we did this, but you should see a "Place your order" link in MDE when you pull up the reservation. It used to be just a link, not a "button" so can be tricky to spot. It was located above the "Cancel Reservation" link, but I don't know if it located the same place any more.

On the computer at least... if you look to the right of the page that your ADR is on you'll see where you can pre-order.

I had to do it from the website and not the MDE app when I was there in March.

I found it!!
Now, my nephew ate NOTHING at the princess breakfast this morning so I spent almost $50 on him. I wonder if he can order cereal from the children's menu at BOG as he did not like any menu choices. He is 12 but looks 9! Or can he not order anything? Or do you have to pay whether you eat or not like at the buffet?

BOG is unlike the other prepaid/buffet meals. You can order as little or as much as you want. He can not order anything.
If he orders an item from the adult menu, he will pay the adult price. If he orders off the children's menu he will be the childs price.

Perhaps he would enjoy a $5 master's cupcake...
If you order one adult entrée you get a pastry plate that might work for him too.

BOG is a counter service restaurant - as such no one monitors what you are ordering. We were 4 adults when we went 2 weeks ago - we ordered an adult Gaston's feast (selected a soda as the included beverage), a child's french toast and 2 cups of coffee. It included the plate of pastries - we did not eat all of them. Personally, for our purposes it was enough food to get us through to lunch. As it was, that cost a little more than $40.
