BOG 8/23 breakfast and lunch now wide open

Got a surprise reservation finder text this morning and booked an 8am PPO. I had previously given up hope and had forgotten I had one set up. Breakfast and lunch seem to be wide open right now. Go get ‘em!

I'm trying to figure out current information as well. We did this in 2015 and as two adults we were able to eat and get out of there by 8:45 - we were able to ride 7DMT twice before park opening. BUT now they offer EMM some days ( 8/21 is one) and obviously those guests get priority on pre-opening rides. You are at least in FL before the rest of the rope drop group, but not sure the benefit.

I will say when we left BOG at 8:45 there were tons of families still eating and using the restroom - you have to be efficient to get out of there before 9. Service can be slow and and the queue was long to check in.

@DaniMoon and @goodeats Preorder your food on MDE so you don’t have to wait in that line and try to get in to BOG as early as you can. If it’s an EMM morning and you are out between 8:30-8:45 you should still be able to get in line before the RD crowd. If it’s not an EMM you should be able to be one of the first in line whether they run 7DMT early or not. We are typically RDrs but would much rather hang out in BOG than in the RD line at MK.

Nice! We have similar plans. We have an 8am BOG and plan to hit 7DMT then PP then use our our 9am 7DMT FP before heading to Splash and Big Thunder. We love Pooh (err...) but will probably try to hit a 4th FP for it later in the day.

Thanks for the tip! Got a PPO for 8/21. QUESTION - this is an EMM day >> does anyone have thoughts on whether it would still make sense to hit Mine Train after breakfast? (Or would the line already be long by the time they drop the rope on the PPO folks??) Also, on EMM mornings, do the "regular" open folks still get let into the park early (to congregate in the HUB)??
