I saw on another website about a product called Bodyglide. (you rub this on the inside of your legs) But I don't know where you buy it? Thought I would ask...TIA!!!

First family trip to WDW---Feb 06

you can buy glide at a running store or magazine like road runner. It is to help runners who have the repetition of rubbing the inner thigh especially in a marathon. We just use vaseline just like they have at the marathons. You run by a guy stands there with a piece of cardboard with gobs of it and you swipe some off & keep on runnin'

My husband runs marathons and uses body glide on his inner thighs to avoid chaffing on his longer runs, it works like a dream for him.

Most sporting goods stores sell it. It comes in a container like a stick deoderant and applies the same way.

Hmm, sounds interesting. THanks for the info.

I think I'm going to try this, I had a HUGE problem with a rash in September, made the 2nd half of my trip miserable. :(

Thanks for the info!

I also used it on my feet/toes our last trip and never got any sore spots at all. It's pretty good stuff.

Just wanted to add a vote of confidence for Bodyglide. My DD10 used it last summer on her thighs after developing a rash after two days in the park (we had to rent a stroller for her because she could no longer walk!!); It worked great and I'll never go without it again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My 7 day trip at Christmas time was a wonderful experience because I decided to try to BodyGlide.

I am prone to blisters on my feet after any instense day of walking. I slathered Body Glide all over my feet, in between my toes, over my heals, on the soles ... and wore a pair of 'sweat wicking' socks - I bought Cool Max - and I had no blisters - not even hot spots the entire trip.

I had a great trip - and I did not have sore and raw feet

Body Glide is now my number 1 item to pack!!!

We used Bodyglide in January and it's wonderful--no chafing on our thighs and no blisters on our feet. I just did a search for it and ordered it off the internet for like $6.99 on one of the sites.

:cheer2:
Great stuff! Got mine at a Sports Authority store. Not sure if it was BodyGlide or another version of it, but I'll never go without it again!

My stick is already packed in my sling bag along with tons of other stuff. My daughter calls it my McGuiver (spelling?) bag.

just another vote of confidence for this product. Used a lot of it last year on a camping/canoe trip. Saved blisters on feet, bra strap/wire chafing, fingers from repetitive motion, etc.

It is in a stick like deoderant and comes in small travel size as well as standard size. For sanitary reasons you may not want to share with other members of the family as you tend to just apply it directly on the needed spot. A little lasts quite a long time and isn't sticky-- didn't notice any particular smell with it either.

love this stuff!
