Bodyglide or sportslick?

Love these boards- they led me to the tip about using bodyglide on your feet to prevent blisters. I started to buy it, and then saw another product which supposedly may be better called sportslick. I can't decide which to buy. Anyone have any opinion on whether bodyglide or sportslick is better at preventing blisters?

I want to know how much you all pay for bodyglide. It was $10 at the store I went to. I thought that was quite a bit of $ and didn't buy it.

I'm so old school:

- Cushioned socks
- Properly fitting and broken-in walking shoes
- Foot powder
- Moleskin for just-in-case.

These things kept my feet comfy and blister-free during my Army years and hasn't failed me yet. Invest in a good pair of walking or running shoes. Crocs, flip-flops, cross-trainers, or court shoes simply do not hack it.

I bought a small tube of bodyglide at Dunaham's for $5.99 here in Michigan.

I thoguth it was expensive especially because the tube/bottle is really travel size, but if it works, it will be worth it.

You might think this is awful but for this past trip last week I forgot my bodyglide so I used my regular stick deoderant and it worked just as well. Not one blister and there were some pretty hot days.

How do you use this stuff? Just rub all over your foot or only on problem areas? I have a cream called "Peaches & Boo" that I use for my high heels.....similiar type product?

im a runner...have been since High School. I used to get blisters all the time but i no longer do because i use bodyglide. It is a bit pricy but it last a LONG TIME...i justify the price by the many months it stays around. I hope this was helpfull

I have used Body Glide several times. I got it at Sports Authority for $6.99. This last time we went it was in April and HOT I used it on my feet just rubbed it all over very liberally. And no blisters no pain! It was GREAT!

Thanks everybody. I bought the bodyglide- hopefully it will do the trick. It was $7.99. I have really sensitive skin, so I'm blister prone. Doesn't matter how good of shoes I have on. We got to spend 1 day at DL last month when we were in the area for something else and even with great broken in tennis shoes that never cause me trouble I had a big blister by the end of the day (of course we were there for 14 hours and walking non-stop to get everything in at both parks since I hadn't been there since I was a kid as we usually go to WDW). Tinkforever, if for some reason I forget to pack the BodyGlide, I will definitely try the deoderant trick!

I LOVE Bodyglide. We don't use it for blisters, I bought some for my three DS who get awful rashes from their bathing suits. This has taken care of it! It is worth every penny. I actually need to get more very soon.

Another trick for boys bathingsuit rashes is to wear a racing jammer underneath. My boys are on swimteam so they just wear their racing suits under their regular swim trunks. The jammers are Speedos that comes down to mid thigh. No more rashes!
