Does anyone know where to purchase Bodyglide? I live in Southeastern Ontario. I'm also looking for moleskin.

This is a product reccomended by many DISsers to prevent chafing. I have only seen it online at drugstore.com but it can't be shipped here. :confused3

I leave in a week and I really want to find some of this before I go.

If I can't find it, we are driving down to WDW so hopefully I'll be able to find somewhere along the way.

Thanks!

Kelly

My dh runs marathons and buys bodyglide at The Running Room. It's a chain so there should be some stores up your way. Don't know where to find moleskin though.

Moleskin can be bought at any drug store. Try under the scholl brand.

I just bought some moleskin (Dr. Scholl's) recently at the grocery store, in the foot section of the pharmacy dept. I noticed the packaging was different. It used to come in flat sheets in a see through package. This time I had to buy a roll of it that came in a box for about $7.

i found something that is better/ or works as well as body glide and cost a lot less. In Shoppers drug/ Pharma plus/ Walmart is the foot care section (somethimes in nail polish section or in the bath care section) the have Liquid TALC foot spray. The best is Calgon Ahh Spa foot retreat. you spray it on feet, inner thighs etc. rub it and it dries to a silky, powdery dry deo on whatever you put it on.

Deodorizing Liquid Talc with Witch Hazel
ahh...soothe me. This natural astringent soothes and cools feet while absorbing wetness and odor. :teeth:

Boy you'd think maybe I worked for the company or something ;) , anyways I KNOW what product I'm taking lots of!

I have to check that stuff out...

I have used moleskin and it saved my wedding...BAD, BAD SHOES... :rotfl:

I don't know if you have Body Shop in Canada, but I found their foot deo/cooler spray really great after a hard day in the parks! Tea tree and rosemary (rather than the usual menthol) - spray it on and wave your feet about for maximum effect :teeth: great if you're going out for a smarter dinner and your feet are too sore for your manolos

I cut the moleskin in several different sizes before I went. When I needed it , I didn't have to use precious park time to cut it up. Also I'm not sure if you are aloud to take scissors into the park. That calgon stuff looks good.I'll try it out at work ( 12h shifts). The main thing to prevent blisters from happening is to have good footwear. :flower:

Just in case you forgot to pack your moleskins, I have seen them at several gift shops in Disney hotels.

I use them quite a bit when I'm wearing my uncomfortable taxi cab heels :) The things women will do for fashion!

Thanks for the replies everybody!

Now I have some great options! I am definitely going to check out that Calgon stuff! It sounds great.

Only 5 more days! Woohoo! :cool1:

I'm going to look for that Calgon stuff too.
That name reminds me of that old Calgon clothes washer detergent. Wasn't it an "ancient Chinese secret"?
