I have a few weddings this year and other then starving myself and exercising myself to death to look HOT! I really need one that works and doesn't ride up for a dress and pant suit.


Can anyone recommend a great Body Shaper?

I used Spanx for the last wedding, it was great! I was impressed and they were pretty comfortable for what they are. I found them in my hometown from this website.

I second Spanx, they make me a size smaller so all those dresses I looked so-so in now look great!

I wore one to my cousin's wedding and everyone was asking me how much weight I lost, hahaha, if they only knew that the spanx were helping me.

Sears makes a really great one too, it's their own brand and comes in a box like the playtex bra's. It slims me down at least 20 pounds and it's pretty comfortable too! They cost like 30 bucks.

I have to say that Spanx are my new best friend! They are pricey but so worth it! I have the one that goes from just below my bust line down to my thighs and I love them - even if my husband calls them my sausage casing!

They have Spanx on QVC too. Sometimes you can get a better price there.

I haven't tried Spanx, but I have use Victoria's Secret body shapers and LOVE them!! I got mine on ebay for about $6. (NEW, of course.)

Doesn't Target sell a cheaper version of Spanx? They are even made by the Spanx people? I know they used to.

Good to know, I paid out $30 for my Spanx last weekend. (They were worth every penny and then some at an old flames wedding Saturday! ) But I would love to save money on them!

Tell me, can I get the ones that go from below the bust to the thighs and wear them under pants/sweater? It said to wear it under skirts and dresses.

Spanx! I've tried others; I find these to be the best. Other brands tend to be thicker but not nearly as firm or "encasing."

I wore that one under a pants suit w/ a cami underneath. It worked great, I have the sit down mommy bulge (need to lose those 15 lbs) and I didnt with the Spanx. So I looked good standing, dancing and sitting. (Without feeling like I was sucking it in all night!) I plan to wear it under pants and shirts, sweaters, & blouses a lot!
