Body Glide

OK, but even with the prices you quoted, the numbers don't add up. The point is, the product marketed for women is priced significantly higher, not lower, than the original (unisex) product.
OK, I'll give you that my math may be bad (it's not really my strong suit). Help me out.

On the body glide website a .45 oz container costs $5.99. And a for her .8 oz container costs $7.99.

Trying to get them somewhat equal I "purchased" two .45 oz containers (.9 oz for $11.98). So, for $3.99 more I get a tenth of an oz more. Correct? It seems that makes the regular glide pricier than the for her stuff.

I just looked at the one I have. It is a pink "for her" with a weight of 0.80 oz and I pay $1.99 for it at my local running store.

I know the blue one is about twice the size and is $5.99 at my local running store. I don't get the blue one because it doesn't fit in my running skirt like the pink one does.

LOL, it's much too late for math problems. Apologies to OP for going OT here; your question has been answered.

Yes Princess, you're right. The different sizes make it confusing and hard to compare easily. Looks like the For Her is only sold in a small size, less than one ounce, which is really like a travel size, whereas there's more options available for the original. It's usually cheaper to buy stuff in larger quantities, so the large size blue tube would be more cost effective.

Another weird thing...looks like the word glide is no longer in any of the product names.

Sounds like you get it at a great price. And even better that the small size works for you.

REI carries it.

An alternative is Gold Bond Friction Defense, which should be easier to find and cheaper.

Note that the Gold Bond (and the Monistat Anti-Chafe that is similar) are not waterproof; Body Glide is. The others are not meant for athletic situations where you are sweating profusely.
