Funny -- I just noticed the "Body for Life for Women" book sitting ignored on my bookshelf. Have you tried this approach yourself, or you just in the "fact finding" stage? You have inspired me to actually open the book, so I'll post if I decide to actually give it a try.

I know lots of people (at least 6+) that have done BFL and been very successful. Most of them have lost between 20 and 30 lbs. And the majority have kept it off. Two people I know do it just to get a major drop in weight. Very much yo yo dieters. It is exercise heavy. And you really need to make sure you eat on schedule and the right portions. But if you are determined to stick to it you can have great success. I have yet to do it myself because I can't seem to be that disciplined. Good luck. Let us know how you are doing if you decide to do it!!!

Hi everyone....

well i just started the body 4 life diet/workout and i have to say i am NOT hungry at all, weird ha??? The foods aren't bad at all I am just starting with the work outs its upperbody then the next day is cardio and then the next day after that is lowerbody workouts then you start from the begining again with upperbody...on your 7th day you don't work out/or eat diet foods...phil feels that if you don't eat the goodies that you are used to you will just go off diet and will not be successful..

here is some links to what I am reading up on :::

I used BFL three years ago and it was the most successful program I ever tried. The plan works!
I shaved 9 1/2 inches off my waist and dropped the body fat percentage from near 40 to about 26%.
Now problem is....I loaned the book to my sister I think and I am going to have to buy another one.....
I'm starting again because a year of bad stressful eating has packed back on about 25 lbs.
To those of you who are starting the plan, good luck!

And don't forget to take those pictures!

My friend and I just finished Body for Life. I lost 24 pounds and she lost 26. We took a week off from the weights and are eating what we like this week. Tomorrow we start another cycle. I feel so much better and you eat every 2 hours so I don't get hungry at all. The web site has dozens of recipes and helpful hints.
