Ive been a memeber for four years. hasnt been for years only fairly recent. Roy didnt talk much on the board.

Will this go away?

If we produce double digit growth. If we see continued gowth i think it will if it wont we dont deserve it to go away. very strong management team.

What Iger said seemed very genuine. Roy contends he's been very vocal on the board the last several years, Iger doesn't think he was all that vocal. Guess we'll never know for sure.

I wonder if Iger's words were specifically choosen. "Roy didn't talk much." It gives the impression that Roy wasn't an active participant while on the board. However, in the letter to George Mitchell posted on savedisney.com, item four is

"Release the series of letters and presentations written by Stanley Gold and Roy Disney to the Board and management over the last two years. The Company has questioned the accuracy of our statements without supporting its claims. We are prepared to openly discuss all of our statements."

And it's been obvious for at least 20 years that Stan is Roy's muscle, I wonder how much talking he did at the meeting. If Roy let Stan do all the talking and if much of their communication was written, Iger's statement (at least presented here, I don't know what his actual words were) would be 100% accurate, but the implication could be false.

But like you said, we'll never know

I hate to throw the good water out with the bad, but I don't see a reason why Igor should stay after Ei$nerstein is removed.

I am not downing the man. I don't know enough about him, but I think the jury is still out on him.
