So is there any truth to the rumor that Bob Iger is coming back as WDW CEO in 2022? What has everyone heard about this possibility and would it be a good thing?

It's not even a rumor, really. Just a pure clickbait article about unnamed sources pulling wild guesses out of their butts about what they predict might happen in Disney's future.

As to whether it would be a good thing... Iger was really bad for Parks enthusiasts... Chapek is even worse. If it did happen (It won't), I don't think I could even muster up enough energy to smile about it.

I'm sad to say it, but ITM is pretty much just clickbait anymore and I tend to ignore most everything they post. I miss the days when Ricky Brigante owned the site.

I don't expect to see Iger back. I think Chapek will be there until he completes what the board wants. Then they can "get rid of him for all the terrible things he did" leave with his golden parachute and they can put in the person they want running the company rather than the hatchet person.

This one was actually started by CNBC. They had anonymous media execs make guesses as to things that could happen in 2022 that weren't obvious. Then everyone ran with that one guess and posted because anything negative about Chapek gets clicks these days.

They wanted what's called "Hot takes" from people, and one of those takes actually caught fire. But they have no substance.

...my DS is a server at Brown Derby and he said that last week they had a going away party for him there.
