boating and bike plan at WDW?

Can anyone tell me if its available at BWV? We are staying there this July for a week - If not can we still enroll in this at the BC/YC?

How much does it cost and what does it include? DD9 and DNeice also 9 want DH and I to take them out on the watermice and also do the surrey(sp) bike.



I am SOO excited to be staying at BWV - its our first time staying here and although I have read some negative post recently - I think we are going to love it here! It may rival my favorite OKW!!

If not, you can rent mouseboats anywhere not just at your resort. The best place is the Contemporary Marina, because you can then run the boats around the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake which is fun to skirt the magic kingdom, monorail, etc. Downtown Disney also has a place (Captain Jack's Marina) where you can use the boats to tour the waterways of Downtown Disney and Saratoga Springs.

Not sure on the surreys at BWV, but Port Orleans Riverside has a very nice surrey bike setup and some beautiful property to explore.

There might be others, but these are the ones I'm more familiar with.

The information below is all I have on the Family Plans as you can see the Surry Bikes aren't included over at the Lodge and I don't think are included for The Boardwalk either as the Surry Bikes are located in a seperate area and the Boardwalk isn't listed for the boat rentals:

Attention: the family plans are back (may be month to month not sure for how long they will remain offered)
**Recreation Family Plans:
Plan includes the Water Mouse, Pontoon Boats, Canopy Boats, Sailboats and Bicycles, (Cruises and Surry Biles NOT included)
Captain Plan: 4 hours of rental per Group $133.13.
Family Plan: Length of Stay Plan (10 Day Rate for Unlimited use of Equipment Listed Above) $254.44 (Up to 5 Guests per Plan)
1/2 hour=$23.00/1 hour=$32.00
All drivers of the boats must be over 16 years old and have a valid Drivers Licensed No age restrictions for passengers.

Captain your own vessel. Choose from a fleet of motorized and non-motorized craft that are available for rent. Sea Raycer by Sea Ray® boats, sailboats, SunTRACKER pontoon boats, canopy boats, pedal boats, row boats, kayaks and canoes are some of the items available at various Walt Disney World® Resort hotels.
