Boathouse - walk up for lunch?

Hi all
What are the chances of getting a walk up table for lunch at The Boathouse on a weekday?
I'd rather keep our plans loose and not make an ADR but I have no idea how popular this restaurant is at lunchtimes
We aren't visiting until October

I'm in the same boat...we are arriving the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, however we will arrive pretty late...we wanted to head to The Boathouse for some apps and drinks...but curious if I need to make an ADR in order to sit out back on the bar deck...or if we can just walk up.

You can just walk right on out to Dockside Bar.

My wife and I did a walk-up lunch at the Boathouse in November. The inside wasn't even 1/4 full at noon. We ate outside, and had a veranda to ourselves.

I don't think you will have any problem walking up and getting a table at BH for lunch.

my favorite spot also. Also, just for peoples info, there are seats at the bar and also small two top tables all around the outside (great views on the water) and also some bigger tables down one level (about four steps)

Make a reservation for this one on Open Table. This way you have it booked and in case you change your mind, you will not be penalized.

I completely agree with this. DS9 and I had dinner at the Boathouse in mid-December. I simply went on my phone about 2 hours prior to going and snagged a reservation on opentable. You don't have to give a cc to hold the reservation, so there is no no-show fee.
