I have reservations for both on our last night at Disney in September. it will kind of be our last night out celebration. Which do any of you guys prefer? We are on the Disney Dining Plan and either one of them will cost us 2 table service credits.

We haven't been to the Boathouse (yet) but I would give Le Cellier a solid "B" in terms of food, atmosphere, etc.. The reviews on The Boathouse have said it is pretty good. That's not just reviews from on here either. All of the websites I have been to give it a very solid review.

If you have never done either it could be a tough choice. If you have done one and not the other I would try the one I haven't done.

We have an ADR for The Boathouse for our trip in September (Sept. 23rd to be exact for 7:30 PM).

Le Cellier has long been one of my favorite restaurants at WDW, but we ate there last week for the first time since it became "two credits". It was still amazing, but I'd have a hard time saying it's worth two credits.

As long as you are OK with the location with the rest of your plans, the Boathouse is vastly superior.

I really enjoy both; the Boathouse atmosphere is better though. As for food I am still beholden to the Pretzel rolls, beer cheese soup and a good medium rare sirloin at Le Cellier.

For food, definitely Boathouse however getting to DTD right now is a nightmare of traffic and construction. Are you taking the bus? It took us over 1.5 hours to get there from the Wilderness Lodge last week. Just lunch, coming and going took us 5 hours! If you are driving, I would check out some other posts about getting there. If you are staying onsite anywhere near the Magic Kingdom or Epcot I would pick LeCellier right now until all the construction is wrapped up. You will have a great meal either way.

Boathouse seems to be consistently good reviews. We have an ADR there in October. Atmosphere seems really nice!:cheer2: Will definitely take public transportation as well.

Food-wise, I'd try Boathouse since we haven't been there yet. But I always like to spend my last evening in the park, so I'd prob make my special meal another night.

Since you suggested Le Cellier and presuming that means you want steak, why not try Yachtsman Steakhouse. It's far superior and no dealing with DTD to boot

I like both places, but I will say choose The Boathouse. The Crab Cakes are to die for and this is coming from someone who lives in the State that is famous for Steamed Blue Crabs and Crab Cakes.

We've never been to Boathouse, but I didn't care for Le Cellier. The food was ok, but I didn't find it to be anything special (and definitely not worth 2 credits, IMO). With that said, the Boathouse looks good and is on our list to try.

Definitely the Boathouse for sure, I've made reservations for the next three trips.
