Boathouse dress code, is there one? Also, any dining reviews??? Thanks!!

It's casual and the food is excellent! We had lunch there on opening day. Great food, great service!

Gotta comment..... all personal opinion

Sandy and I have not BEEN to Boathouse. We have not tried to get ressies, because the menu (to us) looks like dirt.

We had GREAT hopes for this place.... we wanted another really GOOD shell-fish oriented restaurant at Disney. What we got was (again, opinion) yet another steak house. In an area with SEVERAL stunning Steak Houses. And even the steaks looked substandard, compared to Shula's or Yachtsman.

So - for US? Sorry - we're going to Fulton's for shellfish, and Shula's for steak. Again - for US? Boathouse is pretty much a non-event. Unless one likes amphibious cars .

Like all Disney restaurants the dress code (except V&A) is Theme Park casual. The only thing not allowed is Water Park attire and even then they would probably be okay if you threw on shoes and a t-shirt.

As for food, I have never eaten there and the guide books then to give it lower than average ratings. That said, I have seen more positive than negative reviews in my years on the Dis. I would say, if it is a convenient option for you, then give it a try.
