Okay, I'm trying to work out a scenario for our only day at that will be spent at the campground (that is, no parks) and I'm hoping some of you veterans will be able to answer this for me. :worship:

I'd like to go to Wilderness Lodge to Roaring Fork for our quick lunch from the DP, using the boat. Then I'd like to be able to ride the Monorail back to FW. Is this even feasible? Or, is there a better way to get to WL and still be able to ride the Monorail? This would be the only day I'd be able to take the kids on the Monorail because we are driving ourselves to Epcot from Animal Kingdom for a character dinner, so riding it then wouldn't be an option. I would LOVE any and all suggestions or feedback on this little dilemma. Thanks! :cheer2:

The monorail does not go to the Wilderness Lodge or Fort Wilderness. You can take the boat to the Wilderness lodge and then take the boat to the Magic Kingdom and ride the monorail from there. The only resorts on the monorail line are the Contemporary, Grand Floridian and the Polynesian. There are also stops at the Magic Kingdom and the Ticket and Transportation Center.

That is correct, but just to clarify the resort monorail stops at GF, Poly, CR, MK ... I don't think it even stops at TTC anymore, but I could be wrong. The express monorail only stops at MK and TTC. There are two monorails that stop at the MK ... the resort and express. There is a third monorail that runs from TTC to EPCOT.

Ever hear that saying "You can't get there from here"? Kind of fits here. The monorail, as others have said, will not get you to FW.

As of last October, however, the resort monorail did still stop at the TTC.

What we did on one of the off days was ride the boat to MK. Monorail to ticket center, transfered to monorail to Epcot, bus to Downtown Disney, had lunch then rode bus back to FW.

Unless the route has changed, you might try this:

Take boat from FW to CR.:sail: Ride monorail

and return to CR. Then take boat from CR to WL.:boat: After you eat, take boat back to FW:sail:

Okay, sounds like this is the option for us to use. Unless we forgo eating at the WL and just eat at the Sand Bar at CR. Looks like that would be a big time saver and much more convenient. We'd get some extra boat rides in, and could ride the resort monorail for the kids. :thumbsup2

Thanks to all of you for your input and suggestions!! I love this board!!:lovestruc
