Boat Rentals on Crescent Lake: Where Can You Go?

We're planning a Yacht Club stay in September. Have searched the forums but can't find an answer to this: if you rent a boat (Sea Raycer or pontoon) at the marina, where can you go? Are you limited only to Crescent Lake? Or can you go to HS or EP areas too?

You can not go into the Epcot area. I think you can go toward Hollywood studios.

I have seen the Sea Raycers at the HS end of the water so it appears as if you can go all the way in that direction as stated.

Yes, you can go towards Hollywood Studios. This brings back such a funny memory.

A few years ago I invited my niece and her daughter to come with my daughter and me to WDW. We stayed at the BW and rented the Sea Raycers from the YC. We were going towards the Studios and my niece went too close to the shore. The weeds choked the motor. She could not get it restarted so she jumped into the water to push it into deeper water. It might not sound like it but it was hilarious. My daughter and I were busting a gut laughing-nieces were laughing too. Then, doesn't a motor launch carrying guests to the Studios go by and the captain announces on his loudspeaker that he's calling for help. All of the people on the boat were cracking up as was the captain. About 10 minutes later someone from the marina came by and towed her back.

1) You rent at YC.
2) However, better to go to Seven Seas / Bay Lake.

3) Crescent and Sassagoula are short rides.
4) But, SS/BL make for long rides in large waters.
